Hogwarts Legacy: In the Shadow of Time Walkthrough

In the Shadow of Time is a Side Quest in Hogwarts Legacy, and is a Relationship Quest for Sebastian Sallow. It is unlocked after completing In the Shadow of Discovery. In this Hogwarts Legacy guide, we're going to reveal our In the Shadow of Time Walkthrough.

In the Shadow of Time: Walkthrough

Sebastian will soon send you a letter via Owl Post to invite you on his next adventure with Ominis, sending you to the catacomb in the Feldcroft Region to meet him. Once inside the catacomb, follow the path, defeating the spiders along the way, until you come to a room with an altar at the center with a pile of bones placed on top.

Pick up the note next to it and show it to Sebastian, then cast Levioso on the pile of bones and take it over to the locked barricade you need to pass through. They'll form a skeleton on the left side, and then in the accessible room to your right, you can grab another set of bones to form a second skeleton on the right side. The final set of bones you need is behind you, to the left of the main altar, where you can cast Accio. This will open the door.

In the next room, you'll have the chance to learn Imperio. Spiders spawn afterwards, then you can enter the room on the right and repeat the process of transporting piles of bones over to the door to unlock it. You'll need another 3 skeletons. Continue along the path that opens up, defeat all the spiders, then pick up the note and illustration on the table in the back. Talk to Sebastian about the notes, then take the relic and go to leave the catacomb for Ominis to appear. Talk to him after Sebastian has, then actually leave the catacombs the same way you came in.

When you get back outside, follow the path to Feldcroft and you'll notice black smoke blotting the sky. Rankrok Loyalists have attacked, so get there on the double and defeat the waves of enemies there. After the cutscene, talk to Sebastian's dad to complete the Side Quest.
