Professor Garlick's Assignment 2: Walkthrough

Having finished her first Assignment, you'll be given another task straight away by Professor Garlick. You're to grow Fluxweed and then use 3 combat plants all at once. There aren't any objective markers tied to this, so it may seem tougher than it actually is.

To begin, go to Tomes and Scrolls in Hogsmeade and buy a Potting Table with a large pot spellcraft. Then, in the Magic Neep (again in Hogsmeade), you can purchase Fluxweed Seeds. Take both items back to the Room of Requirement and grow the Fluxweed on your Potting Table. It'll take 15 real-life minutes.

As for the combat plants, you need a Mandrake, Chinese Chomping Cabbage, and a Venomous Tentacula. At the Dogweed and Deathcap shop in Hogsmeade, you can buy the seeds for all 3 for 1,400 Galleons. Now, have them equipped to the L1 item selector and go anywhere in the open world. Simply use all 3 one after another and the objective will be complete. You can then return to Professor Garlick and learn Flipendo.
