The Hive is a Rebel Camp in Horizon Forbidden West located south of Scalding Spear. As part of our Horizon Forbidden West guide, we're going to explain everything you need to know about The Hive.

The Hive: Overview

The Hive: Walkthrough

This Rebel Camp is fairly straightforward to infiltrate: you can literally enter through the front door. Obviously you'll face rebel resistance, so aim for the head and stay on the move. Head to the upstairs area and bring down the drawbridge by shooting the rope spools to confront the camp leader.

Once you're done investigate the device and map on the table, then the weapons across the way. You'll need to destroy four Weapon Caches, which are conveniently located next to explosive cannisters. Use your Focus with R3 to find them, and then shoot them with an arrow to detonate them, completing the Rebel Camp.

Weapon Caches: Where Are They?

The Weapon Caches can be a little awkward to find, but if you don't immediately spot them, then try using your Focus. You'll be able to detect piles of explosive barrels, and the Weapon Caches are next to these. Shoot them with an arrow to detonate them. To be sure you're detonating a Weapon Cache, it looks a little like a rack filled with bows and various other pieces of offensive gear.

Piercing Sharpshot Bow
This long-range Tenakth bow fires Strikethrough Precision Arrows that pierce targets and damage any enemy behind them. Arrows deal extra damage when hitting multiple targets.
