Resident Evil 4 Remake: Chapter 5 Walkthrough
Leon has finally managed to find Ashley, but that doesn't mean she's rescued just yet. The Villagers are searching the Church for you, so stay quiet and employ stealth to keep the two of you hidden.
Escape from the Church
As soon as you gain control of Leon, go back to the room Ashley was being held hostage in and shoot the metal container hanging from the ceiling to get a Yellow Diamond. Now return to the main route to the left and interact with the prompt to give Ashley a boost up, who will push the ladder down to you. In the attic, grab the Handgun Ammo, Attachable Mines and Pesetas, then jump out the window in true Leon style.
Head for the Extraction Point
After a call with Hunnigan, you'll be told to head to an extraction point, which is just beyond the Farm area via the Village Square. A lot of Villagers are patrolling the graveyard ahead, so play it safe, especially since you've now got Ashley with you. For this encounter, we suggest having Ashley hang back while you deal with all the Villagers, then call her to your side once it's safe.
You can head to the extraction point straight away if you like, but with Ashley by your side, you are able to access a few new places. Back at the Village Chief's Manor, you can now get into the attic and claim a Clockwork Castellan and a Treasure, while the Village Square has a Gap in the Wall in one of its buildings that you can now climb up to. Consider going to these places first, and pick up the Blue Request Note named A Savage Mutt when you pass the Merchant next to the Town Hall.
