Good info. Thanks. 👍🏻
Will hold off on this for around a year I think.
Pre-ordered mine today, as I had the email for exclusive entry 2 weeks ago. Can't wait.
Think my money unfortunately will be going on an Xbox X next year... as there is no Starfield on PlayStation 😔
I'd be all over it if VR didn't leave me so ill. Its so disappointing.
My good friend has just pre ordered his though, so at least I can get to hear about the fun I'm missing
@Mistabishi Yes, having owned a series X since release, I also should have waited till they actually had some software too
You are talking a Bethesda title though and I'll bet its further delayed. So by the time the bugs are ironed out and there's a good game to play, its likely to be 2024
That's a weird comment to leave as your first comment on your first visit to a PS site though, trolling much?
@Tintin haha yeah I guess it was a tad weird for my first comment on here. Ive followed the site for few years now...guess it first time I found something to reply about. 😁 I've never owned an Xbox...but needs must. Bugs n all 🤔
I spoke to Sony support today who confirmed its coming to other retailers in the UK.
@Titntin What games made you feel ill? You should probably start out with games where you don't move around too much, and then get used to that before getting into games that require more "VR legs".
Second hand unit going for £375 and I’m tempted but then it’s the worry of finding out I have bought a brick inside a box
@Eagly 40-50 games with 3 AAA and you think that's a weak launch line up?tell me a better one?
GAME seems to be offering TownsmanVR for free with their SKU.
Any good?
@BusyOlf you might have more fun with a brick if you don't like gt7 re8 or the walking dead 🤣
@Eagly what's the point of communicating why you're not going to buy it? I guess those those who've got it and those buying it know that reason a random avatar isn't going to get it now. Your contribution is greatly appreciated.
@Mistabishi hells yeah!! I couldn't think of a better place to talk about XB than on an article about Sony's VR headset. I guess everyone's no longer motivated to get their VR since you're buying an XB instead. Such influence.
Got mine today. Super happy.
I've just ordered mine through EE pay monthly on my plan, 52 pound per month for 11 months, the horizon bundle.
Whatever you call it, it’s the reason I bought a PS5, and what I’ll be playing on the most. I’d encourage anyone and everyone to buy one wherever and whenever you can.
@JP80 stopped playing GT7 when Big Geordie Jim announced that it was fully VR playable. Plenty of games in there to keep me ticking over. I really want Pavlov, looks great fun
All that hype around the PS VR2 and it feels like the demand is low for one lol
I went ahead and dropped for one and the Collective Minds stand. Giving my son my PSVR and all of its nonsensical cordage, flakey padding and drifting Moves.
I was going to get an Amazon Astro, but my invite was outside of the $999 price range and they bumped it up to $1,599 instead of $1,449. The PSVR2 is a bargain in comparison.
@helloim_anthony makes you proud, huh? Given that the sales are outpacing the original, I'm more than sure that Sony is pleased with its reception. It has to be wild to be limited to only feeling a sense of joy when met with instances of perceived failures. Even if it failed what do you get out of it besides a trivial exchange of words proclaiming that your perception was sharp enough to see it coming? With bars set so low who couldn't achieve success? Definitely not Sony, right? Otherwise, why would anyone ever be so hyped for such a poor product? You're the real MVP here. Congratulations on your victory. I'll go and cry behind the visor of my PSVR2 so that no one else can see the shame I feel every time I'm reminded of its existence.
@SgtTruth you make some very awesome points about maximizing focused spending, though the gentleman speaking on his XB purchase over a PSVR2 was clearly communicating to the wrong audience if he didn't expect some level of blowback. It came off as more antagonistic than it did economical.
@sgtruth man that's a very well thought out post and you obviously know what you are talking about. But for me that's just over complicating things. See game, buy game, enjoy game. The obsession with getting your dollars worth is always going to nag at you. At the end of the day I just feel lucky to be able to enjoy this luxury hobby.
Love PSVR 2, but there has been a little dry patch as far as content goes. RE8 Walking Dead and HCotM were all good. RE8 fantastic in other words.
Looking forward to Hubris and Red Matter 2 though
If anyone hasn’t yet please leave feedback on your YouTube account telling Google to support YouTube for psvr 2.
I also left feedback for them to give us google earth and a Where in the World is Carmen San Diego co-op game using google earth. That would be awesome in VR
I bought mine Day one and I'm still super happy about it . got some motion sickness the first weeks , but now I have real good Vr legs and I can go for hours before getting tired , not because of the motion sickness . PSVR 2 is really amazing , the quality and all ... amazing . I used the first Psvr 2 years agao for some time and I really find the difference huge in quality and comfort. Go Sony go !
@SgtTruth
Agreed, not everyone has money for everything. If someone will get more use from a Switch for example, because they travel a lot, it would just make sense to get that before something like VR.
Not sure in what situation it would make more sense to get an XSX instead though, presuming you already have a PS5. The two experiences are too similar with 99% duplication in games. There just isn’t much new and different there compared to everything being very new and different in VR
@SurgicalMenace Cool story bro
