Further securing the PlayStation 3’s status as the primary platform for rails shooters, Capcom has announced that it is bringing both Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles to the PSN in June, bundled together as Resident Evil: Chronicles HD Collection.
Both titles had previously been announced for Japan as part of the retail compilation Resident Evil: Chronicles HD.
Although the June release is a bundle of both titles they’ll also launch separately in the West at a later date, and will feature enhanced graphics, trophy support and PlayStation Move functionality – though they’ll also be playable with the DualShock 3.
We were quite fond of The Umbrella Chronicles back in the day, so we’re curious to see how it holds up. Anyone else excited by this announcement?

Amazing decision on Capcom's side; I so wanted to get into the original versions on Wii but never got around to it. I love my PS3 and have been begging for more Move games, regardless of the form. The trailer above made me so happy! Cannot wait.
Bring it to Vita
Nice, I held of on Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles hoping for it on the Ps3 and now I get the first one as well? Awesome
