October is almost coming to an end, and we here at Push Square towers only have one thing on our minds: the launch of Sony's next generation console. The wait is almost unbearable, but to help to pass the time, retailer GAME has announced that the PlayStation 4 will be travelling to select stores across the UK from 21st October.
The tour will embark on a quest through 62 participating outlets, where you'll have access to titles such as FIFA 14, Knack, Octodad: Dadliest Catch, Super Motherload, the Pinball Arcade, and Contrast.
See the list of towns below, and be sure to let us know if you're planning on attending. It's worth noting that spaces are limited at the lock-in, so be sure to reserve your place by registering at your nearest participating shop or by sending a Tweet.

That's a pretty comprehensive tour, isn't it? They're bringing such a strange collection of games to these events, though. Don't get me wrong, Octodad, Super Motherload, and Contast all look ace — but I can imagine the more 'casual' player walking away disappointed. Especially when Microsoft's showing off more 'flashy' games like Ryse and Forza.
No where near me
@get2sammyb Is the appartment in France any better>? I'm asking this because im going to france ( 15 November)
Octodad
Knack was quite good. Surprised they're not showcasing Killzone: Shadow Fall or Resogun.
Although if Resogun was on offer, Push Square might come to a temporary halt with Sammy visiting each of the stores!
@Sanquine I think they're showing similar stuff, to be honest.
There is a sony store here in dallas that already has a kiosk set up, but I have no desire to spoil it for myself.
@longshot28 Just hold the Dualshock 4, we dare you!
shocker ! someone can't spell leicester (just checked on a crisp packet)
I think I may have to take a trip to my local GAME store (Bolton) I tend to avoid it due to it being a little hipster but Ill look past that for some Ps4 feels
I agree that the lineup they are showcasing is poor. they should want to amaze people with visually stunning stuff for an event like this. I would have taken the 60 mile round trip to my nearest show if ac4, killzone, resogun, drive club lol, or even NFS rivals were on show.. but marmite-like (love or loathe them) indie games don't show enough of the next gen leap in my opinion.
I've just signed up for the Bolton lock-in on the 28th so I'll be posting my impressions to the blog. Got a picture taken with the Ps4 while I Was there too, gorgeous device. Pictures don't quite do it justice
