These Hyperdimension Neptunia VII PS4s Are an Otaku's Dream

There are no shortage of custom PlayStation 4 bundles in Japan, but that's not stopping Sony from preparing another trio of personalised platforms in order to tie in to the forthcoming Hyperdimension Neptunia VII. Due out on 23rd April in the Land of the Rising Sun, the Purple, Noire, and Goddess options will cost ¥41,980 ($352) apiece, and will come with a laser etched hard drive cover and a downloadable copy of the game.

If that's not enough excitement for you, creator Compile Heart has also released the intro movie from the Japanese role-playing game, which is chock full of cheesy music and revealing character art. Given that the series – which is based upon the console wars – has built up a bit of a cult fanbase here in the West, an overseas release seems inevitable at this point.
