The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt developer CD Projekt Red is set to unveil an unannounced game this year, according to the studio's latest earnings briefing. Adam Kicinski, the company's president, stated that the studio isn't yet ready to talk about the project, and that comes as no surprise, seeing as the aforementioned role-playing game's Blood and Wine expansion is likely launching in the relatively near future.
So, just what the heck could this unnamed title be? There's a possibility that it'll end up being a smaller release, which is something that the Polish developer has been looking into with the formation of a separate studio based in Krakow. In any case, it's clear that CD Projekt will be attempting to branch out over the next few years.

I'm intrigued by anything CD Projekt does moving forward.
I am waiting to hear about Cyberpunk 2077....
Oh, very curious to see what it is.
Could it be a standalone Gwent game? I would be in so much trouble.
Whatever it is I hope it sells by the bucketload
I love the adoration pointed this developers way. It's nice that in a sea of internet rage, developers can be rewarded for releasing consumer friendly products with real quality behind them. Certainly excited to see what they unveil.
@Shellcore So true! You can really see some exorcism-worthy reactions at the bare mention of Ubisoft or Capcom or even Square-Enix. So good for them!
@TripleGK hahaha I feel you. They were very much the adventures of Geralt the professional Gwent player. Amazing how they also made, like a story, and stuff to do between a gwent game and the next one
As Tom Waits once said: "What's he building in there?... What the hell is he building in there?"
A stand along version of Gwent maybe.
Cyberpunk 2077, and nothing else please.
Just got my plat for The Witcher, the Master Marksman trophy was frustrating.
On topic, I hope this isn't a phone/tablet game.
Mobile witcher game like that idiot battle arena game?
Its this;

Check it out. Its real.
@Feena
I'm actually fairly positive there's a stand alone Gwent game in the making, focussing on mobile too. They have been hiring people with experience in the field and it would make too much sense not to. Even Plants v Zombies is getting a card game, so I can imagine CDPR wanting to get in it too. They already have the game, it would be easy money, easy money they can put in their huge other projects. Since they're upscaling again (up to 800 people directly involved with their games at times, so that's without external contractors) they can use all the money, so give us the game we want and stop making me load that other nonsense you've build around it CDPR!
Yeah its a standalone gwent game with multiplayer of course.
I trust them to make a great game. So does this mean the cyber one gets delayed to accommodate this unnamed one?
@Boerewors HAHAHA that is exactly how I felt at times! I hope it comes to many platforms if that is the case...my special preference being Vita, but I would play it even if it was ps4/pc or even just Android/iOS.
