Admittedly, there's not much in this story right now, but according to Atlus' Persona 5 live broadcast, the game will be at E3 2016 in some capacity. Whether this means it'll show up at Sony's press conference or not, we'll just have to wait and see.
If you haven't already seen the news, the role-playing title finally has a Japanese release date. Could it be that it's showing up at E3 to confirm a Western launch date? it's certainly possible. Could it still release overseas this year? Also possible, we suppose. In any case, E3 is only just over a month away, so we'll know for sure soon enough.

This looks utterly fantastic. Really, really hope we get a western release date at E3. Also keeping my fingers and toes crossed that we get the 20th anniversary edition!
It would be lovely to see it at Sony's E3 conference
Would love to see this appear over here..just started Persona 4 Golden this week and am absolutely loving it!
Maybe I am just tired or maybe my understanding of international localization pricing is misconstrued, but why would they NOT release this worldwide? It seems to be hugely popular, with a rabid fan base and some main stream appeal. What is the point in only releasing in Japan initially other than just to get some profit out of it first?
oh i hope so i really do
