The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt developer CD Projekt Red has just finished up its work on Blood and Wine, so it'll likely be directing its full attention to Cyberpunk 2077 from this point on. However, the Polish studio won't be bringing its upcoming project to E3 2016, co-founder Marcin Iwinski has confirmed to Eurogamer.
"It might happen that we will be at E3 and we will show something at E3, but I just want to make it clear it's not Cyberpunk," Iwinski said, shooting down dreams of seeing anything new at next month's event.
Read into Iwinski's comment, though, and it seems as though the developer may be planning on bringing something else to E3. Eurogamer pressed for answers, and Iwinski revealed that, whatever the title is, it might have something to do with The Witcher. Gwent, anyone?
A little while ago, CD Projekt Red teased that it has something new in the works - a game that'll be a fresh experience for the studio - so there's a chance that this is what's going to show up at the Los Angeles show. Potentially exciting news, then, but if it really is some sort of standalone Gwent release, then we could see it being a mobile title - best not get your hopes up on it being PlayStation related just yet.
In any case, were you hoping to see Cyberpunk 2077 at E3? What do you think this other project could be? Start your E3 predictions a little early in the comments section below.

Dang im rwally interested in the cyber punk game
Understandable. I'll be super-excited for a Gwent app.Tide me over whilst waiting for Hearthstone Tavern Brawls
Cyberpunk is going to be amazing. And I hope it is a Gwent app, it would actually be something worth playing on my phone.
Cyberpunk 2077 is certainly a game I am interested in seeing but if its not ready to reveal any more information - so be it.
The Witcher GOTY edition? I'd bite.
@ShadowofSparta Don't get my hopes up
Might be re-working it after The Chinese Room and some others idiotically threw the 'sexist' label at the game and the studio.
I want Cyberpunk now. Please? Pretty please?
@SkanetWasTaken
I didn't see anything that would've caused the outburst. My guess is it's just the typical bs from people when they see a female game character in little clothing. Also, for as much praise as The Chinese Room's terribly boring walking simulator got from some circles, it didn't garner the praise The Witcher 3 did and gamers, 'hardcore' or 'casual' certainly hold CD Projekt Red in higher regard. What's the best way for a jealous studio to get attention? Cause a sh*t storm over nothing.
This may be what you're referring to @Gamer83?
