Oooh, there's a lovely new The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt theme on the PlayStation Store, and it doesn't cost a penny. Dubbed the 'Expansion Theme', it combines key art from the title's two add-ons, Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine. You can find it under 'Games', and then under 'Themes and Avatars'.
We've provided screenshots of theme direct from our PlayStation 4, but what they can't show is the ominous music that comes with it, as well as the navigation sound effects that have been taken straight from the game. Not bad, not bad at all.
Like the looks of this one? Will you be installing it on your system? Sheathe your blades and head into the comments section below.

Mine is the Final Fantasy VII theme that includes special sound effects from the menu screens in the original. I'm loathe to change it for anything else even though I love The Witcher too!
Here's a link to the free static theme US PS store. I'll check it in a minute to see if it works.

This was my first PS4 "purchase" seeing as how I don't have a PS4 yet I wasn't sure it would work.
Edit - well I can't explain the 2 emojis in the link but it worked for me. That one I did.
@rjejr
Thanks for the link. Didn't feel like switching inputs. I'm finishing off Game of Thrones on X1- into the current season 6 now.
Gosh dang what an epic, overarching narrative. I've never seen a more engaging movie/tv/series/anything in my life.
@JaxonH Yeah, GoT is pretty epic. We marathoned season 1 & 2 just before 3 came out, so basically 3 seasons in 3 months, and now it's a yearly event waiting for the new one.
We've also just started watching Penny Dreadful, season 2 episode 3 I think, and I'll recommend that to anyone as well. Not nearly in GoT territory as far as over arching storylines but there are several interwoven ones and the show is extremely well done. My father, of all people, talked me into it.
This is weird. I was so excited to install and hear these new sounds but while it changed the background it stills plays the same sounds from the previous Witcher theme with Geralt and Ciri. Anyone else have this problem?
@clarksmc I think they might actually be the same sounds - can't remember the other one. The menu noises and stuff?
@Reverandjames once purchased goto themes in settings menu locate witcher theme it will then download and you can select your theme......I think sony changed it not sure why they didnt tell us lol hope this helps
@ShogunRok I love your game selection ^_^ grabbed the theme!
@clarksmc @ShogunRok - Yeah, it's the same sound from the Geralt and Ciri theme. Still look's cool tho.
@FantasyMeister How did you get it??? the one they supposedly placed for free after the last gaming event was a broken link

Awesome, thanks for the responses guys. I thought I might've been doing something wrong. Guess it's the same but with beautiful new artwork.
@wittypixel Square Enix included it as part of the Final Fantasy VII PS4 port, the theme should appear in your download list just after you buy the game from the PSN store unless they've changed things since they launched it.
@seanobi Hmmmm, that's weird. Do regular games and DLC still download? It sounds like you might have to get in touch with Sony if your CC doesn't work.
@seanobi They still don't appear on your theme list either? It sounds like an issue with PSN to be honest, there are a few little bugs like that knocking around. Glad you got your CC sorted!
