Darksiders: Warmastered Edition may have the worst name this side of Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition, but at least it isn't cutting any corners. Newly named publisher THQ Nordic has confirmed that the remaster will run at 1080p on the standard PlayStation 4 and will be enhanced with 4K support on the PS4 Pro. There's a trailer showing all of the upgrades in glorious technicolour above.
Other improvements include boosted texture quality, rendering enhancements, and rock-solid 60 frames-per-second gameplay. While we aren't overly keen on this game's art direction, it is successful at aping The Legend of Zelda's adventure-based formula, and it's worth playing if you're a fan of those kinds of releases.

Again i have to disagree and say Deathinitive edition is one of the best names for a remaster
Who wants to bet this game will also have Performance issues on the pro?
The trouble with a lot of these so called remasters is that they loose a lot of the artistic style in their upgrades. Darsiders 2 for me looked worse than the original as do the Arkham games along with most others.
@THEundying27 you do know it's only a handful of games that have had problems right with most only experiencing 2 to 3 frame drops during the most hectic of scenes which most people wouldn't even notice if not for digital foundry with their counters, graphs etc reporting on it. I have a pro and been having a blast with watchdogs 2,dishonored 2,skyrim special edition etc and have yet to notice frame drops but once in watchdogs 2 when I was driving in a heavy traffic area that lasted for like a second or two.
Any news on a Darksiders 2 pro update?
If they were going to remaster this, shouldn't they have put out the first game first?
I have been playing Skyrim on my PS4 Pro and I haven't had any issues.
Deus Ex, The one Pro game I'm enjoying the most, has major frame rate issues. It's surprising, really, because the graphics (textures esp) look dated and it's not a visually complex game. You can definitely tell the difference 4K makes, but at the same time it's amplifying some of issues the game has. The gameplay is incredibly addictive, with a great story and actually interesting side missions so the graphical issues don't really bother me too much.
Darksiders remaster of a remaster please stop no one asked or voted for this how much detail can u really flesh out from this game? They need to get to work on mastering a new ip instead of remastering games already past their prime!
Considering the Wii U version has put on hold for a while, so I'll just get it on PS4.
It's only £15 isn't it?
