It's a bit weird to look at the latest Japanese software charts and see a new game like Ghost Recon: Wildlands sitting pretty at the top, but that's what we're dealing with this week. Ubisoft's open world stealth-shooter hybrid parachuted in at number one, selling a respectable 89,791 copies. It even managed to beat Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix, which debuted in second with 62,770 copies sold.
Elsewhere, both Horizon: Zero Dawn and NieR: Automata sales continue to tick along at a steady rate - the latter has actually outsold The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild at this point, which is impressive. Meanwhile, on the hardware front, the PlayStation 4 remains in second place as the Nintendo Switch continues its early life at the top.

Guess folks are getting fed up waiting for KH 3, I heard this port is quite glitchy.
Yeahhh Ghost Recon! I am surprised to see it beat out KH though.
Well this is surprising...
The Zelda sales are typical for a Zelda game in Japan. If I remember rightly Skyward Sword did about the same in the first two weeks.
Shame Nioh seems to have lost its legs both in Japan and in the west...
Big fan of the Res 7 'grotesque version included' listing!
Yoko taro & platinum games outselling zelda, wow
Has FF15 hit the 1 million mark yet?
@themcnoisy All we know is that it's fallen out of the top 20. I assume it's very close, though.
@ShogunRok cheers Robert, hopefully it cracks the mil.
Go Kingdom Hearts love these games and really looking forwards to playing them at the end of the month, and especially Kingdom Hearts 3 when released. So glad its doing well, and in 2nd place above Zelda BOTW.
