Sony's scheduled to report its financial earnings tomorrow (or today, depending on your timezone), and analyst firm Super Data speculates that the company will confirm that PlayStation 4's sales have passed the 60 million units milestone. As of 1st January, the console was at 53.4 million units sold through to consumers, so it seems like a bit of a leap to expect over six million units in what is traditionally a slow period of the year. Having said that, the company's probably just about shipped that many units, so it might just scrape the estimate. Maybe.
All will be revealed tomorrow anyway. The organisation is expected to post a better-than-anticipated profit, as CEO Kaz Hirai continues to get the company back on track.

They also said 2.4 million Switch units sold, when it's 2.74, and said they may go for 12 million produced. Both were wrong.
But I do doubt itll hit 60 million. 58 maybe?
Only Tim will tell.
@Enuo who is this tim you speak of๐
@Maraissarel05 I don't know. Some guy.
A special 60th Million Commemorative Edition PS4 Pro would be nice. A nostelgic grey color scheme perhaps?
Does that include all models from OG to Slim to Pro?
This train can not be stopped
@7RedMageLanakyn Yes I think so, ps4 pro is just variant of ps4.
60 million is roughly everyone in England owning a ps4.
Everyone, including grannies, babies, dollites and tramps. Nice one Sony. Let's keep those tramps gaming!
I just bought a new PS4 pro on monday. Haven't had much time with it yet due to college. However I love how much less noisy it is compared to my original PS4.
@Enuo some say he's like the legend27
I'm about to sell my new 3DS and PS4slim to upgrade to PS4 pro! Sale +1 pls. On another note I heard on grapevine mobile apps are declining year on year for major franchises... PC/Consoles will always be the best play to play uber graphics and accurate gameplay IMO! Game on ๐
I wonder if the PS4 will outsell the PS2 in it's lifespan. It doesn't seem to be stopping or slowing down any time soon, and it's nice to see that sony will continue to lead in this generation!
