If you were turned off by the relative complexity of Alienation, then Housemarque’s next title Nex Machina looks to dial things down again and focus on the arcade thrills and spills that the studio is so good at. Designed in conjunction with industry legend Eugene Jarvis, the PlayStation 4 game is like a modern interpretation of classics like Smash TV and Robotron: 2048 – all with a gorgeous voxel spin.
The game has the human gathering aspect of Resogun, but it’s a much different title in practice; it’s all about clearing rooms, collecting different weapons, and learning enemy patterns. As shameless Housemarque fans, we can’t wait to get our hands on this one – and we’re looking forward to a Matterfall update at E3 2017 as well.

This is a day 1 buy for me
@hadlee73 Not sure the Vita could run it to be honest.
@Simon_Fitzgerald See you on the leaderboards!
Is Matterfall still eve gonna happen?
At £13.75 in a recent sale as digital pre-order, I owed it with interest to Housemarque for the outstanding Resogun. What a price!
I want to preorder it to get the discount but my personal policy after preordering the digital version of street fighter 5 is not to preorder digital game without review or at least a demo. I hope when the review embargo end I still can get it with the discount like edith finch.
@hadlee73 @get2sammyb It's time for sony to make psvita pro. Updated cpu, gpu & ram, ps4 lite os, no back touch, sdcard slot, and price it at about $200
Definitely getting this day one.
Yep, this is looking pretty hot!
Just wondering when Sony will buy Housemarque as a first party studio.
Looks like a great enjoyable game, as Always. Day 1.
Day one!!!
