Following on from the game's rather good Dragon of the North expansion, Nioh is getting another chunk of downloadable content later this month in the form of Defiant Honor. As you'd expect, the next additional saga will include new locations, enemies, equipment, and Trophies.
Defiant Honor will see protagonist William take on Osaka Castle, which, defended by stalwart warrior Yukimura Sanada, became known as the most impregnable fortress of the Japanese Sengoku era. Yeah, it already sounds pretty tough, doesn't it?
The expansion launches in just a couple of weeks, on the 25th July. Are you still playing Nioh? Sharpen your blades in the comments section below.

I really enjoyed the 1st expansion. Told a much better story then the main game imo- my only critic of the main game. They were obviously surprised by how well Nioh did, so I feel like they are putting extra effort into these expansions.
Excited to get back to it, but it's a bit close to HellBlade.
Currently having a hard time with Way of the demon mode.
I'm still waiting for Nioh to get a little cheaper before buying it.
One of my favs of all times. I'm addicted to the gameplay. And yes I'll be gettin' it
Damn, Yukimura is my fav, guess I'll have to spend money on this, even with FF12 out...
yea, I've been assuming the dlc will be shortish, so I'm waiting for all 3 to be out then I'll jump into all 3. So much on the backlog anyhow.
Still haven't completed the main game yet, I'll wait until all the dlc comes out before I decide to get it.
