Earlier today, Okami HD was confirmed for a PlayStation 4 release in Japan, and now, as predicted, Capcom has announced that it's coming West this December. We've embedded the remaster's first gameplay trailer above, so be sure to give it a watch if you want to see how the classic is holding up these days.
We've also got good news for all you collectors out there: the title will be made available both physically and digitally when it launches on the 12th December in Europe and North America. It'll set you back £15.99/$19.99, and as previously reported, it'll support 4K on PS4 Pro.

On a side note, presumably this confirms that Amaterasu is coming to marvel vs capcom infinite as dlc too
Are you telling me the disc is $20?
@ZurapiiYohane
I hope you enjoy it. Oh and I gotta compliment you for your awesome avatar!
@sinalefa That is correct, the physical retail edition will also cost $20 at launch.
This is the first PS4 I've been excited about buying since last Christmas. Count me in.
Hope it comes with audio options.
Usually I play with 100% voices, 90% sfx, 80% music. With Okami I'd go with 100% music, 90% sfx, 0% voices.
@sinalefa Seems Japan will get a limited edition too for less then € 40. Hope we get it too! https://www.nin-nin-game.com/fr/ps4-jeux-neufs/24831-okami-hd-limited-edition-ps4-.html
Hopefully that limited edition makes it to the states. One of my favorite games. It seems to include a special DLC so sounds like there will be new content for the game!!!
@andreoni79 @ToddlerNaruto Thanks guys. Sounds even better now!
There's an even more expensive version that comes with a hanafuda deck! That is the one I would be purchasing!
This game is a masterpiece and I'll buy it as many times as they release it
