Remember countdown websites? They were all the rage a few years ago but seem to have fallen upon hard times recently. Fortunately, Bandai Namco is looking to bring the format back into fashion, launching a new website with a microwave and egg, which teases an announcement in ten days. What could it mean?
Well, we spoke to resident Push Square weeb Robert Ramsey to try and get some expert analysis. Here’s what he told us: “Judging by the URL, it's My Hero Academia,” he said. “That’s a very popular anime at the moment.” Makes sense to us – all will be officially revealed in just over a week’s time.

Thank goodness for expert opinions.
@Tingle_The_Great We like to go the extra mile here at Push Square.
Sweet! Here's hoping that it won't end up being an average arena fighter that's either too simplistic (Saint Seiya) or unbalanced (J Stars) with a limited story mode.
Also, it should be at least better than the 3ds game they released 1 or 2 years ago.
God I hope All Might will be playable.
Although it's inevitable that it's gonna be another Namco arena fighter, as long as it's bigger and more fun than Hero Academia Battle for All, then it'll be fine by me. Oh and Fumikage and Mina, they better be in the game as playable characters.
Please be an action/adventure game or RPG...I'll be severely disappointed if it's another fighter.
@ToddlerNaruto Well, this IS Bandai Namco, and since Boku no Hero isn't SAO, AND since the second season since was like a competition (and an arena), expect the game to be yet another fighter. Who knows, maybe they'll take notes from Seven Deadly Sins where the fighting gameplay is just the "icing".
@SoulsBourne128 Hopefully it has a better story mode at the very least...
Great series, not sure if I will play a MHA game though.
Oh heck yeah
i would be down with a Boku no Hero Academia game of course it would all depend on what genre of game it was
also if they get ArcSystem Works to do it with the same style as Dragon Ball FighterZ then it would be a day one buy
I really hope it's ArcSystem Works but i doubt it due to Fighterz
My Hero Academia Fighter imagine Arc System Works Graphics engine with MHA! Please make it happen!
If this was developed by CyberConnect2 I'd be interested. They just get how to do anime games.
This is also a game I would love to see a dub included, I loved the dub of the anime. And it's also DBZ and Naruto that include this, but never any other anime games.
@WanderingBullet True that. Although, they did developed Jojo Eyes of Heaven, and that game got lower reviews compared to Jojo All Stars, which was more like a tekken style fighting game. Then again, it probably wasn't their fault, and it was just the director (or Bamco) who wanted the game to be more like an arena fighter due to Xenoverse's and Naruto's popularity.
Honestly, they should just let the game be what it is best in. I mean, just look at Asterisk War, J Stars, Saint Seiya, Burning Blood and their japan-only arena fighters like Boku no Hero on 3ds. They were either too simplistic, tedious or unbalanced.
@SoulsBourne128 Yeah, I really liked JoJo's Bizarre Adventures: All Star Battle but decided to skip Eyes of Heaven after the mediocre reviews it got.
