The official Twitter account for Onrush, the new arcade racer from Codemasters, has announced that the game is now available to pre-order on the PlayStation Store. In case you're wondering, it's a full-priced title - £54.99 for the standard edition, and £64.99 for the Digital Deluxe edition.
Pre-ordering will net you access to some extra bits and bobs, such as a unique buggy and, in the case of the deluxe edition, some exclusive vehicle designs and other cosmetic items. You'll also gain access to a beta test, which is set to take place in May. Here's an image showing all the extra stuff included in the deluxe version:
Most interestingly, the pages for both editions of Onrush list it for launch on 5th June 2018 - at least, on the UK PlayStation Store, anyway. The US Store has a placeholder date of 31st December, so whether this date is concrete isn't entirely clear, but it seems like it to us.
Are you excited for Onrush? Will you be pre-ordering for beta access? Backflip into the comments and let us know.
Update: Codemasters has a new update on its blog that goes into all the above in more detail, as well as revealing the title's inclusion of a photo mode. Check it out here.
Update #2: The release date has been officially confirmed. Onrush will release on 5th June, 2018.

It's about time PS4 had another (wha looks to be decent) arcade style racer.
VR please.
Nice! I hope you don't have to be good at drifting like every other racing game out.
Not a big fan of Codemasters anymore,. However, I will say that it's great to see a good number of arcade racing games being released this year: Onrush, Gravel, Dakar 18, The Crew 2, Descenders, and more. My own interest lies in Gravel and Dakar.
Edit note: decided to edit since I think my wording was too harsh previously.
Onrush looks OK - not a day 1 for me. Reminds me a lot of Motorstorm (I liked that franchise) but I think I would prefer a new Motorstorm than this...
Wait, are you sure you didn't mean to post another monster Hunter guide here instead? There are only seven or eight MH posts on the first page right now....
Anyway, I love arcade racers so we'll see how this turns out. No way I'm paying for the opportunity to beta test it, though. Especially since you can't get a refund for digital games.
A successor to MotorStorm and from the same guys who worked on it?
looks at wallet and sighs
With a £54.99 price tag my wallet has nothing to fear!!
This looks cool, looking forward to giving a go. Not pre-ordering though. Make it great and I'll get it.
@iARDAs
I totally agree. I'd be over the moon if they had a VR version like DiRT Rally VR.
I didn't realise this was from Codies. Will be interested to read some reviews; I do enjoy a good arcade racer.
