Sony’s really banking on God of War doing the business for the PlayStation 4, so it’s perhaps little surprise that it projected a new commercial onto the court of an NBA game in Oakland this weekend. As far as we can tell, this is a CG advertisement which is odd when you consider how good the game looks, but the platform holder created a similar video for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.
It’s pretty amazing how this promotion manages to take over the entire court, although you’d be a bit disappointed if you were sitting on the other side of the arena, wouldn’t you? This isn’t the first American sporting event that Kratos has rocked up at, as he was also spotted at the PlayStation-sponsored Fiesta Bowl earlier in the year, too.

So cool.
Really impressive how Sony is creative to advertise their exclusives.
Can't wait for God of War.

So we would assume they’ll also do the marketing in the UCL too, same as they did with Uncharted 4 and Horizon Zero Dawn in the ad banners around the pitch. As PlayStation is an official sponsor of the competition.
That's pretty awesome.
Nice. I was expecting cheering and hollering at the end but it was as silent as Old Trafford.
@KingSimba Yeah I imagine we'll probably see God of War ads around the pitch in this upcoming round of Champions League matches.
