THQ Nordic spent a lot of time last year buying up studios and intellectual properties, and that trend looks set to continue in 2019. The latest purchase by the relentless publisher is Outcast, a cult hit adventure game that saw a PS4 remake a couple of years ago, named Outcast: Second Contact.
The company acquired the property from the game's original three creators, it said in a press release. Unfortunately, there are no more details right now. Whether this means that we'll see a brand new entry in the series is up for debate. THQ Nordic has been making use of some of its IPs, so there's a possibility we'll see something eventually. Of course, we'll have to wait and see.

Yes yes yes! Finally! I loved the first release on PC all those years ago. It was one of the few games that was also in french back in the days when I was not bilingual. Can't wait to see more!
Someday, I'll wake up and THQ Nordic will have bought me, too.
I'm still waiting for the Kingdoms of Amalur remaster.
Im getting slighty concerned about THQ Nordic. The remasters they have done have been solid if unspectacular but alot of their games go under the radar. Even Darksiders 3 didnt do well in the UK. I think they need to just use 2019 to deliver us good games instead of buying every IP or else theyl go the way of THQ
There supposed to have loads of games in production but I fear there over doing it.
WHAT?!! There's a ps4 remake of Outcast?!
Why did I not know this?! Is it any good?
I played and loved the original on PC...
One of the first games I ever played
