Update: D'oh! It looks like the PC Gaming Show got this one wrong. The official Godfall Twitter account has now stated that the PS5 game is actually running on Unreal Engine 4.
Original story: After wowing us last month with its stunning visuals and impressive technology, it has been confirmed that PlayStation 5 console exclusive Godfall is running on Unreal Engine 5. The PC Gaming Show dropped the exciting news alongside even more gameplay which builds off the footage we saw at Sony's PS5 games reveal event. The trailer is running on a personal computer, but it still gives us a good look at what to expect out of this looter slasher.
Don't forget that Godfall is coming to PS5 this year. What do you make of this latest footage? Slash your sword in the comments below.

Like what I'm seeing from this everytime it's shown! Looks like fun!
Looks fine. I'm an easy sell for hack n slash games so I'm looking forward to this.
A LOT and I mean really a lot of people were criticising what we saw at the event. Besides the sh** music I thought the game is looking pretty cool for what it is...
Really? So these guys haven't had access to Unreal 5 long before it officially releases. We all know Fortnite is going to be the first UE5 game
Now its looking really amazing.i l💖ve me some hack and slash.word up son
The cape clipping through the sword is not very next gen right? x)
Just realised I thought this was Babylon's Fall from Platinum Games, was confused why it said Gearbox lol
Is this an Rpg? Or a mmo style game like destiny 2?
Hi there gamers. This sould have been the PS5 trailer. This is what is the type of demonstration that makes an impact and possibly sells people on the project. "Looter/Slasher" is not exactely something new. Just play Diablo or Ni-Oh. But it does looks like a very fun game to play at a systems launch. Cheers and happy gaming to us all
