Square Enix already has plans for Forspoken beyond its PlayStation 5 launch in May 2022: the Digital Deluxe Edition is advertising a prequel DLC named In Tanta We Trust that you'll gain access to if you choose to pre-order that particular version. Currently slated to arrive in winter 2022, you'll be able to play the expansion before anyone else by committing to the £89.99/$94.99 edition.
The Digital Deluxe Edition will also grant you access to a digital artbook and soundtrack, and a rare resource kit along with the aforementioned DLC. On top of that, simply pre-ordering either the base game or this more expensive version nets you more goodies. There's the No Limits Cloak, Symbol Combo Necklace, Trigger Happy Nails, and a crafting starter kit. Pre-orders are now live on the PS Store.
"Forspoken follows the journey of Frey, a young New Yorker transported to the beautiful and cruel land of Athia. In search of a way home, Frey must use her newfound magical abilities to traverse sprawling landscapes and battle monstrous creatures."

Definitely wait for reviews after last night seeing how untrue the initial graphics were.
After being stung by EA on 2042, I'll never preorder again.
I should of known better I know, but it has left a bitter taste in my mouth that has cost me £89.99.
But I do hope this game works out okay for folks.
They're already making DLC before it's out lol
Wait, winter 2022 “early access” as in Jan/Feb ‘22?
Probably not gonna bite myself but at least that means we should know how the game plays very early?
Sounds kinda wrong though
That‘s a steal!
Square Enix needs to stop with breaking its games into pieces, especially when the story is concerned. Next they'll tell us that the epilogue is a limited time anime.
@ShogunRok Square Enix is Japanese Ubisoft. Thats why i really dont care for FF7R ita vonna take ages and its certain we will never be able to buy a complete version. I rather have seen a graphical update and be done with it. Also digital does not seem a real preservation for games so far with locking of DLC as a preorder bonus.
This does not bode well for the game, but still trying to be hopeful it'll perform ok.
