Horizon Call of the Mountain is currently wowing the press in some recent hands-on previews. Chief among all the lofty impressions is the fact the game looks fantastic, with some saying it's comparable to native PS5 games rather than other VR software. Sony's not left the rest of us empty handed, though — a selection of new screenshots show the game is going to be a real looker.
Granted the shots look a little blurry on our measly flat screens, but running in its native resolution on the PSVR2 hardware itself, we're sure this will look gorgeous. You can tell the level of detail is through the roof with all those dense jungles and craggy rock faces.
We cannot wait to get some time with the game ourselves, but until then, we can gawp at these shots for a bit. Are you liking the look of Horizon Call of the Mountain? Watch out for Watchers in the comments section below.

PSVR3 is what I may finally be getting
Sony killed it with State of Play yesterday and PSVR2 stuff today. Good for them, they needed a win.
Never had a VR experience before, but doesn't those floating hands on the screen puts you out of the immersion? Why are there no forearms? Almost looks like the Nintendo Wii UI
It does look mighty impressive. All signs seem to be going in the right direction for PSVR2. The last piece of the puzzle is the price. If it's fairly priced, this thing could do pretty well for itself.
@LIMA I thought the same thing too until I tried VR. It's shocking how fast our brains get tricked into what is and isn't real when you put on a headset. These screenshots already look great, but, once everything is in motion, this is probably going to be one of the most immersive VR experiences to date.
@B_Lindz
VR is truly one of those things you have to experience yourself to just "get it". You simply don't get the same experience watching footage on a flat screen.
@LIMA no, they don't. VR is not like looking at a screen, you are inside the world. So each direction you turn your head, you are seeing the world around you, not looking into it from a "window" like a traditional gaming session. It really wouldn't make much sense to put more body parts in a first person experience. They want you to become the avatar looking around, not feel like you are controller the camera for a character's perspective. After a few minutes, you won't notice much of anything but the world itself.
