Square Enix has published the performance specs for Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion, and you couldn't really ask for more — at least on PS5. The upcoming, impressively overhauled remaster will boast a native 4K resolution on Sony's current-gen system, while running at (a hopefully smooth) 60 frames-per-second. Very nice, even if it is pretty much what you'd expect from a title that started life on the PSP over 15 years ago.
On PS4, however, you're going to be stuck at 30fps. On the base console, that's at a standard 1080p, while the PS4 Pro gets a resolution boost to the aforementioned native 4K.
Are you looking forward to Reunion? Don't forget what it means to be a part of SOLDIER in the comments section below.

Hmmm thats not possible on a PS5 lol.
Ps4 pro it is then.haha.i remember playing crisis core on my psp.it was amazing.and im glad that i can play it again.word up son
Finding it really odd, and sort of lazy how they are forcing 4k 30 FPS onto Pro, instead of giving the option of 1080 60. Will be playing on PS5 (and possibly Switch) myself, but it really seem weird.
@rawzeku Could be a CPU limitation and simply knocking it back to 1080p wasn't enough to achieve 60fps.
They're releasing this on switch but can only manage 30fps on PS4 ? Lol
I'm looking forward to Reunion since I never played the OG Crisis Core. Plus, being able to play it in 4K60 is going to be nice since I haven't gone back to 30 frames in a while.
My Christmas Break title. Gonna feel good replaying it for the first time since 2007
I never played Crisis Core on PSP. So it will be nice to experience it at 4K 60fps on my LG C1 OLED. I'll be picking this up for PS5 Day 1. It will look good sitting on my shelf next to Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade. I'll get the Switch version for portability after a price drop.
The switch can barely produce 720 P and 30 fps
I feel that is the true crime this generation.
Ah the benefits of being a multi-platform gamer. I have so many options of where to play this at.
I never played this originally either as I never had a PSP. Really looking forward to it on PS5 after loving Final Fantasy 7 Remake.
@NomNom is it? I mean it's a 5.5 years old console/handheld with even older hardware.
I like what Devs are able to display on that device. Especially current Gen releases show, that even PS5 cannot be fully utilized if the devs to a bad job (Arkham, looking at you!). My point is.
To the actual topic: looking forward to this one, as I never owned a PSP and only played this game vis emulator for some time.
Awesome to hear the PS5 version will be 4K @ 60 fps!
