Yeah, same it appeared around 09:55 on website. Went live 09:59. It was still available at 10:20, but didnt checked when it sold out. Probably very limited amount of those.

In general I wanted Black controller in long run, and this design on black sold me straight away. Next week it should arrive

@naruball Millions of people beg to differ. Looks sick to me. Those colors look good. That's your opinion but it sold out so the masses love it.

Wow! I must have got super lucky then! Was logged into my PS Direct account at 9:58 and ordered it up by 10:01!

They took around 90 minutes to sell out as I kept track. I got my order in at 9:59am, weirdly, and I'm looking forward to getting it 😊 Already seen them up on eBay at £125, though, and that is tempting when you think it's £50 for nothing. That said, it's a limited edition one and I don't yet have a black controller, so I think I'll be hanging onto it 😊

This is such a phenomenal game. Don’t regret it being one of my very few (non VR) day one releases. I wouldn’t go so far as to buy another controller for it though. Not unless it was actually needed and no more than £5-10 extra maybe.

The design is also quite poor in pictures. Perhaps it’ll look better in person.

I might try to get one as my second controller for my PS5, but if I miss it, I'll just wait until Black Friday for a sale on a normal version.

Got mine at half 10 so they must have had a decent amount, hopefully scalpers will have less power due to volume.

First off, they did not sell out "almost immediately". That's a flat out lie. it was over an hour until they were gone. Secondly, waiting to snag one today as I'm in the US. I've only ever had one DualSense so it's the perfect time to get one. I love the design. Simple and not over gaudy looking at all.

Managed to get mine, though I thought it wasn’t out until 28th Feb, so I didn’t pay extra for delivery.
Kick in the gut when I realised I could get it straight away haha

@themightyant thats a strong opinion you got there . but did they really have to take out the colored buttons on the default standard PS5 controllers too ? y'know alot of us don't like this pretentious bland & boring look of our video game assets too. some of us like color and fun.

because at the end of the day, its still a video game controller

Love Harry Potter but this controller didn’t do it for me. I preferred the GOWR one. At least that one had a unique color scheme to DualSense controllers. I hope everyone who bought one of these loves it though 😎😁😎

It sold out because it's hairy plopper, not because a dual sense sprayed with barbeque paint and gold stickers slapped on it looks particularly good...

This might be the biggest IP in the world at this point. I'm sure some are fuming about that fact but it seems you can't really escape that truth at this point.

I don't know why they don't make a controller like this limited.
It's Potter related, so they have no worries it won't sell, would make much more money in the long run by being available unlimited, yet by making it limited you know the bulk of purchases will be scalpers reselling it for higher.
Really, limited edition controllers in this day abd age only benefit the scalpers, not the consumer.
Oh well, I refuse to sit in front of a computer waiting on a countdown to click attempting to buy something like I'm Pavlov's dog.
And I even more refuse on principle to ever buy from scumbags who snatch things up to sell for more.
Guess I can spend my excess money elsewhere.

@huyi People like what they like. There are plenty out there that would say gamers are pathetic for getting excited for even playing any games.
Everyone's different in what grabs their fancy. Be a boring world if everyone only liked the exact same things in the exact same way.
Be it coin collecting, collecting Barbies or being a fan of certain movies, etc, it's all passions for someone that can be dull or a waste of time to another.

That's pretty cool controller, rather than buying plain old black dualsense maybe I'll pick this up if it's available in my country 😃

I lucked out and got one for myself. I feel bad for the people that didn’t get one and instead were swooped up by the people that want to sell them on eBay like the cockroaches they are.

I don't even see a big deal about this one, it's just got some gaudy decals on a plain black remote. You can get a similar look with one of those decal kits.

@RockZombie My stance on anything political on gaming sites is simple: I think they should just keep out of it, there is no need to be making any statements just because Twitter might be obsessing over it. It's like we don't need to know what political views the staff aligns themselves with, and I always find that kinda stuff questionable as well, when a business tries to speak upon the behalf of everyone working for them. Can't help but to feel like some people are being bullied by these "discussions."
