The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR, developer Supermassive Games’ spiritual PSVR2 successor to the very enjoyable PSVR rails shooter Until Dawn: Rush of Blood, will include ghastly bobble heads for you to place in your roller coaster of misery. Pre-order bonuses for the game, due out on 16th March, include a skull bobble head, as well as golden and demon gun skins, and a cart seemingly inspired by Paris’ catacombs.
The release will feature many of the horrors from The Dark Pictures series, including the Ghost Ship apparitions from Man of Medan and faceless foes from Little Hope. You’ll be able to pick your path through the game, meaning there’ll be plenty of replay value, as the series’ smug Curator pays careful attention to your direction.
As an exclusive, the outing will take full advantage of Sony’s hardware, meaning it’ll feature full 3D audio support, haptic feedback to help you physically feel each and every jump scare, and stunning 4K HDR visuals. We’re looking forward to getting our trigger fingers on this one in a few short weeks, but what about you?

I've been watching the gameplay footage of this on YouTube and looks like great fun and a bit scary too, another on an ever increasing list of games to buy for VR
Isn't this just an on the rails shooter?
@StylesT
Nothing is “just” an anything in VR. But yes, it is obviously on rails being based on a rollercoaster, and you shoot things.
Still waiting for Time Crisis and Virtua Cop, House of the Dead is basically coming…would be good to get some ducks involved somewhere.
@StylesT quite literally yes, it's like a theme park ghost train but it also makes great use of the features of PSVR2 to make it a good horror game by the look of it, for example tracking your eyes so that mannequins only move when you blink
Does anyone know if this and any other PSVR2 games will be getting physical editions?
That preview picture for the article looks a lot like me in the morning when the alarm goes off.
@AmanK_Art Amazon has some physical PSVR2 games up for preorder, so certainly some of them are
@dschons better as if its your girlfriend who wakes you up like this lol.
Looks amazing, more rail shooters the better. Especially in VR.
@StylesT Rush of Blood on PSVR is such a great horror game till this day. In 2D it looks boring I agree, but wait till you try it!
