Sony may be frustrating beyond belief at times, but when it’s got a big game in its portfolio, you can bet your bottom dollar it’s going to make sure you know about it. Final Fantasy 16 is the next major PS5 console exclusive on the horizon, and with the release of today’s demo, the marketing onslaught is well underway.
This unique London bus livery, spotted by Square Enix’s assistant marketing manager Jason Psarras, is plastered with the game’s awesome key art, along with the PS5’s logo and slogan. We’re going to assume this is a collaboration between the two juggernaut organisations’ marketing teams, and we suspect it may just be the beginning as the title nears its 22nd June release date.

That looks so good!
Now that's a London bus I wanna catch! That looks great. Whatever else you can say about Sony, they still know how to market to their largest demographic, even if they seem tone deaf to the die hards....
Not long to wait now!
It's definitely been underway for a while now. They got restaurants serving themed food, cross over promotions with different companies, multiple game magazines cover features, billboards and posters plastered all over different countries and stores. And not a single bit of that in my area 😂
Can't believe this glorious game is almost here. The wait has been painful but it will be worth it
With FFXVI and Rebirth's marketing overlapping, the Final Fantasy series is actually like that old phrase about buses - you wait ages for one and then two come along at once.
Sony giving FF16 the first party treatment in terms of marketing.
@4kgk2 as they should tbh
Is Jason Greek by the way? That makes two of us!
Im amazed a design that looks like an explosion on the side of a London bus was approved, but it does look very cool! No one will be able to miss that!
@Matroska Ha! 😂
I chuckled.
That is an impressive, eye-catching wrap to be sure.
Sony are the kings at marketing, never fail to impress with their ideas, strategy and ruthlessness.
I hope they include this in the collector editions
Sony, can I get one of those wraps for my car, please?!
@UltimateOtaku91 Yeah, for all those various ups and downs, Sony have always been good at marketing. Ever since the PS1 days, I'd honestly say they're the best of all time in gaming.
@Rob_230 Yeah I thought that too. Imagine this ad on the side of twin skyscrapers in America...
It’s my local bus route they’re always advertising that bus
@TheCollector316 If I had a car would agree! Jealous of London gamers right now.
