Green Hell was already widely available, but at long last, players can experience the literal nightmare of being lost in the Amazon rainforest for themselves on PSVR2, and it's out today.
Green Hell first launched back in 2019 but eventually charted a course to PS4 in 2021. Green Hell VR is the PSVR2 iteration, and likely not for the faint of heart, as you'll need to "manage your hunger, thirst and fatigue as you struggle to stay alive in an unforgiving jungle environment."
You'll do this by crafting, foraging, cowering in fear, and occasionally losing your senses entirely due to malnutrition-induced hallucinations. Oh, and you can use maggots to heal your wounds, apparently.

Are you planning on picking up Green Hell VR? How's that PSVR2 treating you, is it getting much use these days? Let us know in the comments section below.

I remember hearing good things about this game, but I personally don't want my wounds to be sucked up by maggots so I don't know.
This is one great example of Sony acting like a dummy. They released a launch trailer at the start of Aug stating 8/15 release date and then immediately pulled it from their YouTube channel. On 8/14 they then re-release the launch trailer stating available today but it's not available 8/14 and is in fact available 8/15.? Seriously, Sony.... call me! This is beyond stupid with a corporation's sized budget. ...just wow! PPP
This title I have been looking forward to!
I am still collecting newbie cars in GT, am stuck in the first castle area of RE8 and have JUST encountered zombies in the Walking Dead. So some VR players might be a little slow at completing their games compared to a normal completion rate.
Too often, I stream to my phone playing Slay the Spire and X-COM 2, so they and the status of father, husband and working man creates barriers that prevent me from using VR.
But man! I love the headset and recently played Bestsaber and Pistol Whip at a party - truly amazing.
It looks cool, but I heard it was the quest version and not the PC version, and that may push away. Otherwise probably want this.
The Quest version is actually better than the PC version in a lot of ways and indifferent in other ways. (I have both thanks to Occulus cross buy)
The quest version has more physicality to it (rather than just selecting things through a menu, you apply a bandage with hand movements) basically it feels more like a VR game.
However the maps are smaller and have more of a linear progression feel.....which is good or bad dependant on the individual.
The PC version us more sandbox like (like the original) with bigger maps but just feels like the original but with a VR camera movement)
If I had to pick one version Id go for the Quest version personally (if visually wasnt part of the equation)
I was really hoping for a hybrid of Quest contrils with at least an slightly bigger maps.
Note I havent played the PC one a couple of months after the Quest version dropped......so I dont know if the patched the Quests physicality in....eventually (I prob should check)
