We finally have some direct-feed footage of Astro Bot from ChinaJoy 2024, as captured by Gematsu. This 30-minute stage gameplay demonstration recaps some of the levels you may have already seen from yesterday’s off-screen footage, but it also includes a full stage featuring flamingos which appears to offer a breezy introduction to the adventure.

Due to the way this demo has been shot, you can appreciate some of the game’s DualSense interactions, like motion controls on the glider when Astro enters an environment. As you’d expect from Team Asobi, everything’s looking extremely responsive, fluid, and fun – you’ll be hard pressed to find a tighter experience in 2024, we’re sure.
