PS Stars Finally Coming Back Online in North and South America

I’m in the US and for me it’s not back up yet.

Ohio and got it back. Login again if it doesn't load worked for me.

@MrZurkonKeelYou Use the "force stop app"trick. Now it should work. Or do what I did, log out from app and turn of the phone for a few minutes , it's healthy for the phone with a fresh reboot now and then.

I'm on the US Server and it's working. Just redeemed another $20 with no problems

@Bil_Do I'm in Ohio as well and is working for me.

They need to give us points for the purchases we made while it was down. I’ve seen people posting in the other article they not points. Anyone else in NA get points for purchases while it was down?

@CrispyMango92 My points for the Elden Ring DLC have been added, which was purchased during the downtime

Just came Up in Florida.

Woohoo, I can get my usual couple collectibles a month and nothing else again since I'm not a digital only gamer.

Wow, Only took a few months but Sony fixed whatever it was that broke. Its working for me now.

Its not exactly the greatest rewards program, but at least its something.

It did require a force-quit to refresh the app, but it is up in Atlanta now.

Still down for me in Florida. And I just signed out and back in but that did not work.

@CrispyMango92 It gave me the points from when my PS Plus renewed on the 3rd so hopefully game purchases are being recorded as well.

Got it working in NY by “Offloading” the app and reinstalling it on my iPad b/c I’m not really an Apple guy and I couldn’t figure out how to force stop it. 😝 My 753 points and level 3 are still in tact, not much else for me to do except play PS4/5 games. I’m so not the target audience for this.😂

Didn't have access until I force-stopped it on my Android. In case anyone's curious on how to do it, just hold your finger over the app icon until it displayed "App info". Then in App Info it will show one of the options "Force Stop".

It's now back up in Canada. Woohoo

ps stars is the weakest rewards program since the creation of rewards programs back in the prohibition era

Still not working for me - I’m Eastern USA

I’m in the northeastern US, and had to log out and back in, but it’s up and the points I earned during the outage are there.

The Stars animation when you open the app has gone back to the old one. It had an eye- catching twinkle effect while the service was down. Maybe that animation is only for people who aren’t members to get them to click it, and it didn’t recognize that I was a member while it was down?

I forgor this service existed. 💀

Yea mines finally back up. Im in Mississippi...pathetic it took them that long to get this back up and running.

Back up for me too. In florida, had to sign out and back in as well as restart the app

Thank God! It's finally back up for me!

Now I have a few campaigns to catch up, on.

Almost made it to level 4. 45 more rare and above trophies and I will be level 4.

So much for a certain other site claiming it was back "globally"...so globally is only the U.S. now?!😅 Had logged out & in & wondering why it wasn't working!😔

At least Push Square got it right. Not hodig y breath Down Under but hopefully tied into the EU Store region return.🤞🙏

The fact that they took a month to get this back up justifies my apathy towards it, I feel.

So yeah nothing to make up for the downtime? Very cool sony.
