With Gamescom 2024 almost upon us, hype man Geoff Keighley is doing what he does best: drumming up hype. The presenter and producer tweeted out an ominous teaser for something potentially spooky, with an eerie live-action trailer heralding the coming of "The Beast."
As chronicled by IGN, it didn't take long for internet sleuths to connect the dots, with video game detective Kurakasis being the first to link Keighley's spooky trailer with Dying Light: The Beast, coincidently a title which Dying Light publisher/developer Techland trademarked in recent days. We've seen speculation that this could be still more DLC for Dying Light 2, or a spinoff of some sort. Thankfully, we don't have much longer to wait, as a reveal has been promised for Opening Night Live.
What do you make of The Beast? Does it sound like some more Dying Light 2 DLC is on the cards, or could this be something else entirely? Let us know in the comments section below.

Kyle Crane spin off/DLC pleaseeeeee
The 2nd DLC has yet to be released so it would be weird if its a new game.
@DonJorginho Would be very difficult to have him back considering how The Following ends.
Daigo the Beast, SF pro player?
The Beast from InFamous series?
Huh 🤔🤷♂️
I have been waiting FOREVER YESSS
@DennisReynolds very difficult, but not impossible, I’ll take that 1% chance 🤲🏼
@DonJorginho Yeah if it isn't I'll be very surprised
@DonJorginho I loved playing as Kyle Crane - always imagined he was some alternate universe version of Chris Redfield, what with Roger Craig Smith voicing him. The protagonist of Dying Light 2 was so generic in my opinion, like a combination of Troy Baker and Nolan North
@DonJorginho Well i guess that 1% paid off 😲
@DennisReynolds IT DID INDEED LETS GOOOOOO it looks better than I could’ve imagined 😅
@DonJorginho Yeah it looks great.
