As part of Sony's plans for Tokyo Game Show 2024, it's playing host to a presentation all about Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. The highly anticipated sequel from Kojima Productions is getting the spotlight on Sony's stage at the Japanese expo, featuring Hideo Kojima and a number of guests.

The show will be led by Kojima and Japanese singer Daichi Miura, and will include various guest appearances, some of which have been teased by the designer on social media in recent days. The guest lineup includes Kenjiro Tsuda, Nana Mizuki, Tomokazu Sugita, Shion Wakayama, and Nicolas Winding Refn. "Attendees will be given a front row seat to the latest update in the development of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach," reads an update on the Kojima Productions website.
It's set to take place on the final day of TGS 2024, 29th September, at 10:30 JST, lasting approximately an hour.

Can’t they just email it in a blog post or something
I can't wait for Kojima to show improvements to Sam's peeing mechanic. Maybe this time his piss will make a whole tree grow instead of just mushrooms.
@WhiteRabbit Maybe you can climb on the plants you can "water".
Can't wait for this. Death stranding is still one of the most amazing, unique experiences. Wandering the Icelandic inspired environment is still one of my favourite gaming moments of last generation
I can’t wait! This alone sort of puts TGS as a better showcase for me than Gamescom. Most anticipated title for me right here!
Definitely gonna watch this!

I can't wait!!! Loved the first one. Very excited to see where they go with the sequel. Bring it on.
I put 100hrs into DS never finished it, but would defo buy the next one, it was such a unique experience and had me hooked on delivering! Raising my rep as a deliveryman. What game has ever done that — ever!?
This will be a day one for me, great experience with the first one, very unique and thoroughly enjoyable!
@Shakybeeves Not sure about raising rep but Paperboy is the OG delivery man
@Mostik True I played paperboy! Being born in the eighties myself, haha forgot about that progenitor!
TGS is all about the PS5 Pro for me.
I have everything crossed.
@OldGamer999 if you do that with your eyes you may miss the presentation.
@riceNpea
Ok not my eyes then 🤣
I avoided Death Stranding for years until this January when I had nothing to play and decided to give it a go. I binged in a week and absolutely loved it. I am pumped for #2!
Can't wait to get more confused and deeply not understanding what I'm gonna play.
I finally got into the first game a couple of weeks ago, something about it clicked for me after all this time and now I know there's going to be a sequel I'm doubly excited. Bring it on, Kojima-infused weirdness and all.
Silent Hill 2, Death Stranding 2, and Small Saga are my top three, and maybe only three, games I'm looking forward to at the moment.
It's not that I don't think anything else is going to be good, its just that I don't have much time.
Death Stranding is an amazing experience. I try and tell my friends how special it is and no one will even try it. If you buy in to what the game is trying to do it’s a truly unique experience and has moments of sheer beauty throughout.
@WhiteRabbit oh I didn't even know about that that's horrible. The soundtrack fading into a low roar or Chvrches melody as you get to some of areas is one of my favourite experiences in games
@WhiteRabbit yep, that's the exact moment I had in my head too. It's definitely an acquired taste but I loved every minute of it, and DS 2 is looking like it's going to be even better, with the more bombastic stuff normally seen in MGS.
Higgs firing lighting out of an electric guitar is one of the silliest (yet coolest) things I've ever seen. And it seems like Kojima is going even weirder than he ever has, if that's even possible 🤣
2025 is going to be nuts
