Ahead of its showing at Gamescom later this month, The First Berserker: Khazan has decided to drop 15 whole minutes of gameplay footage. This is the most we've seen of the action RPG so far, with the video showcasing some exploration and a lot of combat.
The action itself is definitely Souls-like, but with what seems to be a slightly heavier emphasis on combos. There's also a clear reliance on parries as well as dodges.
Truth be told, the game's looking a little bit janky at times, but it's not due to release on PS5 until 2025. With a bit of polish, The First Berserker could be yet another action RPG to watch out for. And of course, we should be getting plenty of gameplay impressions once people try it for themselves at Gamescom.
