Like the personification of Piccolo's weighted clothing, players are apparently training as the weakest Z-Fighter in order to unleash a higher power level online.
Spotted by TheGamer, a post on the Sparking! Zero subreddit illustrated how even Yamcha is capable of defeating Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta, with the super-powered fusion character currently considered the most powerful in the game's competitive meta. Yamcha, the idiot who fumbled Bulma and was offed canonically by a lowly Saibaman, thus has come to represent the eternal optimism of the series and its central message that, no matter how mid you might be, any obstacle can be overcome, provided you are willing to put in the hard work and effort.
