PGA Tour 2K25 Lines Up a Deeper Swing System for PS5

Iterating on sports games is hard work, but there are always elements that can be improved to enhance the experience.

For this year’s release, PGA Tour 2K25 is focusing on the swing mechanic, bringing a deeper system named EvoSwing. This judges your shot based on four factors: contact, rhythm, transition, and swing path. Nail them all, and you’ll be hitting the fairway with pinpoint precision.

If you’re more of a casual, then Perfect Swing will reduce the impact of external factors, allowing you to swing under less pressure if that’s how you want to play.

As you’d expect, various real-life events and tournaments will be represented in the game, including the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow and the US Open at Oakmont Country Club. You’ll be able to create your own MyPLAYER or perform as a pro.
