Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault is shaping up to be a worthy successor to the excellent original, promising an epic journey of mercantile proportions, and will likely do a roaring trade. Announced late last year for PS5, expected in 2025, we've got our best look at the combination dungeon-crawler/shopkeep simulator in a new trailer.
Moonlighter's signature and quite unique gameplay loop involves delving into dungeons, defeating the monsters that dwell therein, and making it out alive with all the treasure or valuable materials you might find along the way. Thus, having acquired stock, the real fun begins as you attempt to sell your ill-gotten gains for the best possible price while keeping an eye out for sticky-fingered tricksters and hustlers. The profits can then be reinvested into better gear or into improving your establishment; there's a satisfying sense of progression in everything you do.

Really enjoyed the first game, felt it didn't need a sequel, but am intrigued to see how they have evolved the formula outside of the perspective shift.
Oh, the sequel is now in 3D models.
Looked cute.
Huge fan of the first one. It’s a really great mix of gameplay styles.
More Moonlighter! Whoooo! Love it.
I didn't expect to like the first as much as I did. Great little rogue like. Looking forward to this and love the adaptation of the art style into 3D.
Love cool genre mashes or shakeups like this. Loved the first game a lot, great indie to play. Looking forward to it.
