Sony's newest first-party developer Dark Outlaw Games is officially recognised on the PlayStation website now, despite the fact it hasn't said a word about it. Most likely because of the latter, however, it's a web page you have to work to find.
A page with the Dark Outlaw Games logo on it spins out of the PlayStation Studios web page, where the other platform holder's developers are listed. But, if you view the public page the link is supposed to come from, Dark Outlaw Games isn't mentioned anywhere. It seems Internet sleuths have discovered the page ahead of time as a result. To be fair, the only thing present on the page is the logo.

Dark Outlaw Games was confirmed to be a first-party developer under PlayStation last week, when former Call of Duty developer Jason Blundell appeared on a podcast with Jeff Gerstmann last week and shared the news. Blundell said the new team has been "working away in the shadows for a while" but it doesn't have anything to talk about publicly yet.
The studio's logo presents the silhouette of a person on a dull orange background, with the figure wearing a trenchcoat and a hat. If it speaks to the game the studio is making, then perhaps some sort of detective / noir experience is in the works.

Welcome to the family i guess. Hopefully Blundell actually gets a game out this time 🤞
That's a spiffy logo. I dig it.
That there is a legendary detective who goes by the name of Sam Cruise, see?
Let's close all existing studios and open new ones
@Frmknst Seriously though. RIP to PixelOpus and London Studio.
We'll see where things go with this new team, but for right now, that name is pretty metal.
Full 3D remake of Déjà Vu confirmed!!!
Live Service Concord game?
Concord remaster
From their logo, feels like they gonna make a detective game.
@jFug really a shame pixelopus got shut down, we probably would have had their game by now.
So the PS6 lineup is starting to fill out. We have kojima next game, bends, bluepoints next games and now this new studios next game. Not to mention the games leaked from insomniac.
That trenchcoat dude in the logo is from that infamous AGENT game take-two was meant to do for Sony and PS3.
Is that a hint, probably not knowing Sony, but we can hope right?!
I like the name, the logo and the fact that Blundell was talking about his career while refreshing his voice drinking from a PS Studios mug.
Outlaw is technically the first studio Sony establishes since 2014. Time to show Deviation died for the greater good lol.
Love the name, not so much the logo. But that don’t matter much. Let’s hope they put out a great first game to build some momentum. Sony needs some games to hit and start making some money. To many cancelled games in the last year. Am i just being nervous or should we be concerned for Wolverine. It’s been 3-3.5 years since that reveal trailer and we have seen nothing. No i am not including the insomniac leak.
How many development studios has Sony shuttered in the past five years? Firewalk Studios, Neon, and Japan Studios come to mind as the most recent closures. And now Sony has created a new one called Dark Outlaw? Why all the layoffs at one place only to hire at another? I guess I just don’t understand how video game development companies work. Seems like Sony could save a lot in recruiting and HR staffing/hiring/firing and unemployment costs by just re-allocating existing employees to different projects within the Sony Development umbrella.
For what it’s worth, I’d love to see a new Warhawk and another PlayStation All Stars.
@jFug @Frmknst Easier to close studio for probably some type of tax write off. Then open a new studio to get some government incentives... Plus you don't have to worry about ongoing salary bumps due to x amount employees working at x studio for x amount of years. There probably other reasons.
This is going to be hideo kojima secretly teasing silent hills again isnt it!
Who's with me?
@nessisonett 🤣 🤣
"Casablanca: The Game" coming soon!
