CD Projekt Red has multiple irons in the fire, from various new entries in The Witcher universe to the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 to the studio's first original IP. As such, it needs talent and has brought on more than 50 devs in just the last four months, with the lion's share of these new personnel being assigned to work on The Witcher 4.
Included in the Polish company's latest financial report (thanks, Insider Gaming), we got a bunch of lovely, colourful graphs, which certainly brightened up the ordinarily dreary numbers we've come to expect.
A quarterly comparison reveals CDPR's headcount is now over 700, with 411 working on The Witcher 4, 84 on Orion (Cyberpunk sequel), 49 on Sirius (The Witcher multiplayer spin-off), and 79 on Hadar (original IP). Another 124 are working on shared services (QA, Data, Insights & Experience, AI), and 22 on "other projects", including unannounced games being developed internally.
We also got an update on the status of each of CD Projekt's various projects: The Witcher 4 is in full production (but likely still years away), Sirius is in pre-production, and the remake of The Witcher is still in the concept phase, as are Orion and Hadar.
As it stands, we wouldn't expect to see a release from CDPR anytime soon, with the vast majority being many years away from launch. For more information on the various stages of game development, check out this handy guide.

Good. Keep the time between games around 5 years.
TBF if what I've read is true, CDPR burns through devs like crazy. Don't know if that has changed. Also ridiculous that they fired so many a year or so back just to go on a hiring spree again.
In far more interesting news: The Witcher 3 does really well on Playstation but CP2077 seems to sell overwhelmingly on PC.
@breakneck PC shoud always sell more overtime as its a much bigger audience. Witcher 3 sold better on consoles at the start but PC overtook within the year. Also you have to factor in the disastrous launch that Cyberpunk had on consoles. The game was barely playable on anything but PC until the 2.0 overhaul.
Aside from that those sort of games always play better on PC imo simply due to mods. I played Witcher 3 with Weighless Items and Auto Apply Weapon Oil mods because it just made the game much more enjoyable overall by removing the tedious menu guff.
@Ilyn Actually the Witcher 3 has remained extremely evenly distributed overall (the image is their official earnings report)

regarding CP i forgot it was pulled down for months on the PS Store.
This sort of transparency is very refreshing in gaming. Kudos CDPR.
Quite refreshing to see hires instead of layoffs.
Seeing the number of projects in development is also impressive.
Quite surprised to hear The Witcher Remake is still in the concept phase. I could have sworn I first heard about this being made a few years back and would be shocked you could spend a couple of years figuring out a remake.
Oh well, I was kind of hoping that it might release before the Witcher 4 but that doesn't seem likely going by this news.
