I just want the VR UI in blender. I've used UE5, blender and other CAD software and it's sooo boring. I could make anything in this game in seconds. I could make things I could never actually make in blender. And it felt like magic just melting shapes together with my hands. Copying them, twisting my wrists to rotate them while adding strings of clones. Why can't other companies make creating stuff fun.
The games aren't even the reason to buy dreams. I'd pay 100 bucks for the experience I've had in it using psvr just creating shapes in my hands and making music. It's so much more than most even know.
I didnt really enjoy dreams until i tried it with my kids psvr. that got me hooked. since then I've downloaded blender, UE4-5, and some other programs, bought a nvidia 3070 laptop, spacemouse and i still cant create like i did in dreams. everything seems so clunky and disappointing compared to the VR tools in dreams. I plan on buying the PS5 and psvr2 just for this game. Honestly if you haven't just created shapes in your hands in VR with this game you wouldn't understand. Its a beautiful thing to be able to resize and twist shapes, melt them together all at the same time, in real time, with 0 effort. This game is my all time favorite and should have its own place right in the operating system of the PlayStation. "Playstation Creation"? jump in and design, 3d printing, models, games... its so fun for the creative mind.
What a relief. I was so disappointed thinking they were leaving psvr in the past. I feel like a lot of people will dust off the old headset and jump back in. I still use mine and can't wait just to see what they can do with it. I'd like to see patches for this game, no man's sky and Dreams.
Just give it to us Sony. You'll increase the vr customer base just by giving us new hardware to buy. People have money. Everyone buys phones more expensive than this... Just go all in on awesome hardware, don't skimp and we will buy.
The game for psvr everyone should give a chance is Dreams on ps4. Even with the old hardware, the move controllers, I can sit in a recliner, and create art in a way I've never believed could be done. It's absolutely mind blowing once you learn the tools, and it takes some time but once you do, they have done the most impressive job with accuracy. I'm telling you, get this game, you can learn how to develop videogames with it, you can make music, you can just mess around and use other people's creations, pick them apart to see how they programmed them.. it's an absolutely beautiful thing, and it's what I'm most excited for on the ps5, more memory. I love just getting on there and trying to recreate my home lol. It's hands down the best psvr game and I'm sure it will work with ps5. I have so much respect for some of the stuff I've see people make on there, if you like videogames and ever wondered how they work. Check out this overwhelming game. Don't just play other people's stuff, take the time to learn to create and use it as a tool, if you're into that kind of stuff.
