I don't care about watching movies on a Playstation. I already have a multitude of options for streaming TV and movies. For me, It's all about the games.
What about backing up game data to a NAS drive on the local network? Do console players care about that sort of thing? Makes backing up so much easier in the PC world.
Can 1440P resolution be added in a firmware update on PS5 or does it require a hardware revision? I actually might get a PS5 slim (or whatever it's called) a few years down the road to connect to my PC monitor if it supports 1440p.
@Deadcow I think the majority of players only think of the symbols. What if this site was called Push Pink? Wouldn't that suggest a meaning slightly different from video games
I would love to see a way to play digital games from older consoles much like what the Xbox side has but I wasn't really expecting it. PS Now does that anyway and I will almost certainly get that for a month or two at least.
I learned a long time ago not to buy a new console on day one. I will be waiting a few months to see if there are any hardware issues or software bugs. I also want to wait on some of the game reviews before I buy a (probably) $500+ console.
Whatever the PS5 ends up looking like, it will only disappoint me compared to CernyStation but at least we don't have to resort to human cloning to make more than one.
Also, part of me wonders if the PS5 looked a little too close to the next Xbox which sent Sony into an emergency redesign. That might explain why we haven't seen it yet.
@Chryssy75 I'm actually really looking forward to it. Last Playstation I owned was the PS2. The PS1 was one of the first consoles I bought with my own money so I can play Final Fantasy 7. It's kinda ironic that I will be doing the same thing with the PS5 more than 20 years later
I never got a PS4 so I am looking forward to the PS5 since it will have both SSD and backwards compatibility. I haven't played many console games in years since I have been so spoiled on SSD on PC.

Re: Here's Why DualSense PS5 Controller's Face Buttons Don't Have Their Iconic Colours
Meh, how often do you actually look at your controller when playing a game? Esp after having it for awhile. I won't miss the colors.
It could be worse. Imagine if they arbitrarily swapped the buttons around.

Re: Random: What the Hell Is with This Sonic Movie Merch?
That Sonic plushie looks so depressed. It's a strange look for a super energetic hedgehog.
Re: PS4 Exclusive Horizon: Zero Dawn Will Come to PC in 2020, Says Report
I don't own a PS4 but plan on getting a PS5 eventually. Would still love to play this on PC. Looks like a great game watching people play it on Twitch

@glassmusic Microsoft bought Obsidian last year so that seems very unlikely
Re: PS5 Controller Patent Potentially Explains DualShock 4's Back Button Attachment
I haven't had a Playstation since the PS2 and I am looking forward to getting the PS5 when it comes out. Curious how games will use the new buttons.
