I wouldn't bother with The Last Samurai, it's a load of white washed Tom Cruise bollocks. I'd recommend Hairkiri and Throne of Blood as 2 far better Samurai movies.
I got fifa 20 in the recent sale for 8 quid, I thought it was about time to upgrade from fifa 17 and the game is pretty terrible. I played a few hours of the new Volta mode, the computer can score goals from ridiculous angles whilst you have to rely on getting the opposition keeper out of position to score goals. I played 2 games online on ultimate team, both games I was matched up against teams where every player is well over 90 whereas I had 1 player over 80, I got oblitarated. I mostly play career mode and the things they've added are so superficial, they've added cutscenes for transfers, contract renewals and post match conferences, the characters just awkwardly stand there as subtitles play along the bottom of the screen, they're also painfully slow and the fastfoward button isn't obvious. The menu's also seem to be slower and clunkier than in previous iterations, you'd think that they'd have optomised the menu's by now since they're almost identical to the menu's 5 + years ago. The crowds are also abysmal, I played against Liverpool and every other fan in the Kop end was the same asian lady copy and pasted over and over again.
It's a great game, but the mediocre gameplay has always kept it from being a masterpiece for me, most of the sections fighting humans as Joel are more tedious than fun, still a strong 8 out of 10.
@JoeBlogs yeah, if it took some inspiration from Dark Souls but did its own thing, I think that would probably be the best option, especially since it seems a bit more grounded than the likes of Nioh and Sekiro.
@JoeBlogs The thing with JediFallen Order as well is that it's also pretty different from the Souls and Bloodborne, instead taking more from Sekiro. Fallen Order worked because it was built around the easier difficulty, so much so that the harder difficulties suffered because of it.
@bindiana There are surprisingly few games that have managed to copy the combat well and it's also one of the few combat systems that actually requires you think about the combat rather than just button mash to death. It also a very deep combat system that has a huge amount of variety and is incredibly satisfying to play which makes it one of the best combat systems out there.
I burnt out of this game so quickly, i loved BL1 and 2 and played all the dlc on launch, but i just wasn't feeling 3 that much and this doesn't look like it'll get me back into it anytime soon. I'll wait for a heavily discounted season pass, sometime in the future.
@dark_knightmare2 from what I played, the combat was better, but still not as good as many other 3rd person shooters. The checkpoints were incredibly frustrating in 2, especially in the train where there were so many insta deaths, resetting your progress, it through off any momentum that sequence had. Playing through 1 and 2 the narrow level design just felt too linear and dated, I cant speak for 4 because I never played much of it. As for the story I played through 1 and half of 2 less than a year ago and I cannot remember anything that happened in the story and the only characters I remember are drake and I think sully.
I really don't get the uncharted games, yeah they look nice, but the combat is awful, the climbing was tedious, the levels were too linear, the story was bland and even the set pieces( the one on the train especially) were so frustrating. The poor combat, the often insta deaths and the crap checkpoint system made them so frustrating, when they should have been grand spectacles. Am i missing something in these games? I played through the first one, half of the 2nd one and about 2 hours of the 4th one( which did have better combat, but not by much).
What I'm still wondering about this game is whether it will be fun for non superhero fans, I don't really like superhero games but spiderman on ps4 was fantastic and currently this game isn't appealing that much to me

Re: FIFA 22 Player Ratings Revealed, and Messi's Still Top of the League as Ronaldo Gets Docked a Point
@Bamila no way was Mbappe the 2nd best player in the world last season and giving Messi a 91 below him is straight disrespectful
Lewandowski, Messi - 93
Ronaldo, Neymar - 91
Mbappe, De Bruyne - 90

10 out of 10 for me, the best example of an open world game alongside Red Dead 2.

The game is incredible, best looking game on the system and probably the best open world game ever released.
