@KawakiisaFraud unlike psn and Xbox digital games, which are totally safe in your library, and not at all licensed to your account or console. Yep, completely safe. Just like the Discovery channel content on psn, safe as anything could be, for the next two years.
@Oram77 when a game's a bit bugged because of an update, people lose their minds all over the internet. When people in whole countries can't play a game because of an unnecessary post-release addition, forced under false pretenses, apparently that's just fine. I don't think I've logged into Ubisoft, as they repeatedly try to convince you to, since before Odyssey, I don't plan on changing that, and that's a choice that we should always have.
If it wasn't about milking people as shameless and aggressively as possible, then: A) Sony would subsidize the disc drive with a fraction of the money they save from selling digital media at an unnecessarily inflated price, or B) they wouldn't go to such great lengths to ensure that a third party drive can't be used.
@breakneck Destiny gets a lot of unnecessary hate, but I really don't think Sony needed bungie for this, they're capable of getting these games out through other channels without spending big on buying the studio. That said, they'll probably get value anyway, it's just a lot of money to put down, but it won't really affect they're bottom line. IMHO.
@mariomaster96 people let all the bg3 bugs slide so much compared to other games. They just get memed and treated like an obnoxious but tolerated relative. A couple of things drove me nuts but were practically glorified on Reddit.
Meh it definitely looks disappointing, especially coming straight from remake and expecting more, but I'm willing to bet that it'll be fixed and this will be forgotten. It's a bit delusional to try to make excuses though, considering how noticeable it is, and how amazing the original vii looked compared to its contemporaries. You can like things and still accept that it has drawbacks, I love lotr battle for Middle Earth ii, but I'm not going to pretend it's not janky as hell.
@AK4tywill yep give me the choice, don't feed me the bs that this is the direction they think is artistically better. I thought I'd always choose definition over frame rate...but I don't these days.
@AhmadSumadi unless your car has WiFi, or you want to use your phone as a hub, I wouldn't take that controller out of the car yet. Unless you're talking about the car in your home garage.
@SystemAddict prescription glasses would be comparable in price, and a lot more useful. Even some convenience store generic fits would give a more enjoyable experience than this glorified controller.
@mariomaster96 even though I think it's a waste of money, you'd probably be ok as it's the WiFi link to the ps5 that's important, as I understand it. My internet is ok but nothing special, but my wifi communication is close to gigabit on the 5ghz band.
If you don't have access to a tv all the time, you can get a small curved gaming monitor and long HDMI cable for less. Add on some headphones, or a soundbar for the same cost. The lack of onboard storage is a deal-breaker for me, but ok it's cheap. Needing WiFi is pretty bad, but only streaming directly from the ps5, no other access to games is straight up ridiculous. I'm trying but the can't see any use for this except getting rid of $200. And what happens if someone tries to get a bit of quality gaming on the actual PS (with a proper sized screen) while you're hunched over this silly little thing? Do you get booted or are they locked out? This is going to lead to some sibling violence lol.
How can you call it a collector's edition, when there's not even a physical copy of the game? Whatever you're collecting it's not your own copy of the game. I generally prefer digital downloads, because I'm lazy, but that's just silly. I mean, assuming that you even got what you paid for.

Re: Sony Appears to Be Dabbling with Written User Reviews on the PS Store
This is definitely a must have, but tie it to a certain amount of minimum time, or amount of achievements to ensure some fairness.

Re: Sony Doubles Down on Helldivers 2 PSN Requirement by Taking It Off Sale for PC in Numerous Countries
Sony seem determined to get the L here. They had a pretty much controversy free surprise hit, great community goodwill, now how to ruin it...Bingo.

@naruball "most celebrities" yeah I'd like to see some figures on that to justify the "nothing could be further from the truth".
