@Nepp67 I think what's on everyone's mind myself included is this. Bungie has been in turmoil they are and have always been incapable of being independent. They also can't be anything else. Xbox dumped em. Activision dumped em. The latter they blamed so much on yet some of the best content came from that 🤔.
Point is with all these troubles. A CEO who wants to spend cash on the backs of his talent while paying them ***k. Missing revenue targets because they oversold their company and it's capability to produce. Massive layoffs. The Final Shape looming. Can anyone TRUST their assessment on a competing game especially one as popular as TLOU?
Is this conspiracy theory? Possibly. Probably? Just shedding some light on the issue. I wouldn't trust a word if its comes from the LT at Bungie. They lost their most important Seniors probably because dude was throwing stripper parties with all that Sony money instead of moving Bungie forward.
Stuff will come to light. Some may take a couple years. Some we will find out soon.
@GymratAmarillo name one good F2P game that is good that isn't catered to children? Or is good at the start but ends up completely screwing OG players by changing every aspect of the game, removing items we paid (or grinded) a LOT for, nerfing characters/skills into Oblivion ect.
Oh and FF Online and Warframe don't count. So name any games other then that. On consoles. I used to like Neverwinter but man the stuff they did should be illegal.
@Cashews It's been better for a long while now. Edge runner update added even more stuff but I've been enjoying it since launch. It had some bugs like any other game but my XBSX ran the game no problem. No CTDs at all but others apparently had some. On last gen consoles it was unplayable at launch for sure. Anyways I'd definitely check it out the setting and vibe is worth it alone. It can be empty in some areas sure but it more than makes up for it in other areas. It's meticulously built with some excellent RT in it to. Characters, Builds, gunplay, mono wire and quickhacks are all fun and lots of secrets to find. So get out there Choom and play some Cyberpunk it will not be a wasted a purchase they practically are giving away the game now.
@FatalBubbles never and that's their problem. They shouldn't own other studios they got rid of Crystal Dynamics and Eidos for not selling enough. I'm still baffled MS didn't buy them honestly. Back to my point the last Tomb Raider sold 9 million copies that's not bad sales figures these days God Of War Ragnarok has sold 11 million copies for a example. They seem to think every game should sell like Zelda and Mario Kart or have profit margins such as Fortnight for single player games. They need to get a grip on reality they are stuck in the past.
@Mattock1987 Exactly, the story was great the Graphics and CGI on point. The rest.... I could live without in a FF game. I wasn't expecting what we got and am kinda disappointed in it. It has NO replayability once you've done it you've done it. Thank God I started on hard I can't imagine what the other settings would be like.
Man everyone here is loyal to a fault screw that they spouted a bunch of nonsense they knew WASN'T true to make it look like they had next gen launch titles. 6 months is okay? Really? I'm a old school gamer launch windows weren't/aren't 6 months cut that in half and maybe we are getting somewhere. People blaming the at home order and covid-19 crap guess what both was going on then to man come on they knew the state of things. Blind loyalty will bite you guys in the !. Not to mention R&C wasn't the only "launch window" title look it up if you must but it's looking like none of them are coming. But sure I'll play along, Yes Sony it's okay to lie to me to push your agenda please continue to do it as I will blindly follow all your deceptions because your the only gaming platform out there. Watch the replies roll in now.
Yea look I appreciate the gesture of the free upgrade but I won't be mad at most AAA games not getting one. The stipulations are this game but only because I believe they will be able to just port the PC version actually I know they can. Also any remastered game made this generation cause we've already repurchased the game as it is. But demanding a price tag for simply porting a PC version of the game to work for PS5 and Series X is highway robbery and I say enjoy the loss of fans or new players alike. You just shot yourself in the foot but I also want to stress all of you can't expect EVERY game to receive a free upgrade as some will ACTUALLY require effort to do so.
