I think this must be the wrong site but every other review I’ve just bounced from have ripped this movie a new one. Is it really as bad as it looks and reviews or is this review just biased?
Sony deliberately released a buggy port to get people to move to PS5. Like MS will do with PS5 Call of Duty after the activision deal. According to Sony at least!
In the short term, 1-2 years, nothing much will change but in 2+ years the balance off power will shift and Gamepass will be the the general rule
I think MS have won the long game by changing the rules without Sony noticing. Sony has to change its reliance on selling hardware because gamespass has over a billion potential customers, anyone with a phone, tablet, PC or Smart TV is now a customer that can be tapped into
MS were mocked by not releasing Xbox console sales figures but the money is in software and user engagement and they knew this. Boxes shipped by MS is becoming far less important to them
@viktorcode I don’t think MS care if you buy an Xbox. They’re thinking beyond plastic boxes, as long as people have a pc, mobile, tablet or smart tv you’re a potential customer. Potentially hundreds of millions of customers.
Sony are, at the moment, reliant on selling consoles to establish a user base.. They’re starting to release on PC but it may be too little too late in the game
I can’t see Sony allowing Gamepass on PlayStation so the likely future is Sony leaving the hardware game at the end of this gen and becoming another Sega. PlayStation may become a niche console by the end of the decade

@UltimateOtaku91 he does seem to be patronising Sony at the moment and annoying PlayStations fans no end.
After years of “Xbox has no exclusives” I’m lapping up these articles with tears of laughter running down my face
