I've put about 40 hours into the PC version and it's not particularly easy there either, mainly because the coaster tools are way more in-depth than anything that's come before. I found the console build tools actually surprisingly decent, although definitely create a new save before you start a big coaster build as you may to scrub and start again without losing loads of cash.
There were plenty of big reveals but they're kinda pointless when they're just glorified logos. Everyone knows Elder Scrolls VI is going to happen, announcing it six years before the fact isn't my idea of fun. I did come away a little more enthused with Fallout 76 though, and out of everything they showed, at least I can play that soon.
The Konami hate is so boring at this point. I swear some people are just Jim Sterling's mouthpiece without any of their own thoughts. Whatever happened with Kojima, it doesn't automatically make anything Konami develops bad, and each game is worth being judged on its own merits regardless. The complaints that it's not a proper Metal Gear Solid game always make me giggle. It's not a Metal Gear Solid game, it's just set in the Metal Gear universe, as with Metal Gear Acid and Metal Gear Rising. I could understand the frustration more if it was called MGS6.
Ah well, for what it's worth I probably plan to give this game a go when I've got the time!
@get2sammyb Sorry if this a silly question but does it have a traditional ending? Or do you just play it through enough times until you're satisfied with the story you've gleaned from it?
Is anyone expecting this to be good? Sony seems to be placing a fair bit of faith in it but I'm so unconvinced. You'd have to be brave soul to lay down £50 for a pre-order. Speaking of which Sammy, do you have any idea when reviews might drop?
@Splat Truly bizarre. Are you like this with all forms of entertainment, have you bothered with The Blair Witch Project? Is Huckleberry Finn a rubbish book?

Re: Second Red Dead Redemption 2 Gameplay Video Arrives Tomorrow
Does that mean later today? They tweeted that at such an awkward time

Re: Dreams Will Now Support PlayStation VR at Launch
Great news. They're going to have to pick my brain up with an ice cream scoop once I'm done.

Re: The Elder Scrolls Online Thieves Guild Story Trailer Sneaks into View
Ahem, wrong trailer!
Re: Review: Agatha Christie: The ABC Murders (PS4)
I kind of want it. There's something about B-tier murder mystery games that really appeals to me for some reason.
Re: Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls Comes West this Fall
I've been avoiding looking at this in case it got announced. I have to say it looks very different from what I expected. Must buy whatever though!
Re: Opinion: Why You Shouldn't Write Off PS4 Racer DriveClub
Ditto me. I picked it up last week for cheap on the PSN store and I'm loving it. Don't believe the hate is all I can say about DriveClub!
