Multiplayer for Res 8 Village has already been talked about. The application page for the Beta shows the Res Village backdrop in the background so it does seem that there is a link. I think they are testing the PS4 and Xbox versions of Resident Evil Village multiplayer first, as they are the versions most likely to struggle and require further optimisation.
@AmicoFan I assume you meant 2021. Sony's Jim Ryan made a statement recently regarding the future of VR, if he was referring to PSVR 2 it will be more like 2022 at the earliest
@jsw-8 I do believe you are wrong and I will attempt to correct you with the utmost respect. To my knowledge, most of the PSVR games were only optimised for the base PS4 and only some received PS4 Pro visual enhancements. however, even the Pro updated ones didn't reach the max resolution for the headset. I have read that Resident Evil 7 only runs at 720p on Pro and I am inclined to believe that as it still looks bad in many ways on Pro, but still a great game. I have used the PSVR on PC with higher resolution games and antialiasing enabled and it looks significantly better than OG PS4 and Pro, I was very surprised by the improvements. I do not doubt that PSVR has the potential to provide better visuals on PS5.
@Robinsad According to Sony, the current PSVR when connected to a PS5, will think it is connected to a PS4 Pro. The headset will only be recognised as a backwards-compatible device and won't have native PS5 support. Who knows if any visual improvements will be added after the PS5 release. I can't imagine developers wanting to continue making games for PSVR when they have to be produced to PS4 standards. If they do they will no doubt still have the parity rule that ensures all VR games must work on the original PS4 as well so the headset will still be held back. Not good.
@SoulChimera It has already been stated by Sony that the only improvements PSVR on PS5 will see is improved frame rates and faster load times. I also hope that further improvements are made for the visuals but it's not looking good so far. Hitman 3 is only playable in VR if you buy the PS4 version, the PS5 version does not support VR, however, you can upgrade to a PS5 version for free if you buy digital. It is looking as though PSVR will forever be a PS4/Pro device stuck in backwards compatibility mode.
@nessisonett There is a program called Trinus VR that will allow you to play many PC VR games using the PSVR headset. I have not used myself but I will at some point in future, I have heard good reports about the software. You can also attach up to 4 cameras to track the headset which actually makes the tracking better than the standard PSVR setup.
If you used your friend's settings it can make you feel sick. setting the IPD (pupil distance) to match my eyes on PSVR and upgrading to a PS4 Pro stopped most of the nausea. From that point just like seasickness, your brain learns that there is no threat and then you can play anything for as long as you want. I can go for weeks without using the PSVR and never have any problems when I play again.

Re: Hands On: Hitman 3 with PSVR Is a Timely Reminder of the Technology's Potential
@Futureshark Yes, you can play Hitman 1 and 2 in PSVR. The new design elements from Hitman 3 will be added to 1 and 2 when you import them into 3.
Re: Hitman 3 (PS5) - The Ultimate Stealth Sandbox
@leucocyte Yes, the import does work with physical versions of the game, at least, it does on consoles. I heard the PC version has some import issues.
