I'm really disappointed with this month. They could have at least given away the free upgrade to mortal shell enhanced edition. And Godfall is a disaster. It doesn't matter how bad the game is, giving away a version of a game that puts you at max level and locks the story content is such a stupid idea for developers. Clearly this was done to try to get people excited to buy the full game and drain a little more money out of the players.
@iamtylerdurden1 People are angry about it because we want to play the full game. We don't want to start at the endgame with a Mac level character. That literally takes all the fun out of leveling up and learning the game. The experience is cut so short and it's clear that they only did this to provide new players for the people who purchased the game because it's dead.
You can say that the campaign is bad, but newcomers WANT the option to play through from the BEGINNING of the game. Not to start at the end.
You need to look at it from a newcomers perspective. Obviously someone who has beaten the game will shrug and and say "I don't know what the problem is, the endgame is the best bit". Because you've already played through it all. People deserve to play the game from the beginning and just be dumped at the end with a max level character and no clue what they're doing.
What an absolutely disgraceful thing to do. Let's face it. This IS gutting the game.
I don't know a single person who bought Godfall, and haven't come across anyone online who mentioned enjoying Godfall. So this just seems like a really stupid decision.
Sony's PlayStation plus lineup has sucked this year. And look at that, they've left a massive turd in our stocking for Christmas.

It's quite short but it is nice and polished, so it can be a good entry point.
