Re: ModNation Racers: Road Trip

Although at least it's a good Mario Kart clone, what it lacks in personality it makes up with the customization. I do agree they should've taken the time to make it online.

Re: Hirai: "Sony Can't Go On Like This"

@SpaceKappa Totally agree with your opinion. Sony's customer service is a great example of that, it's really really difficult to get them to do something for you. We didn't want a "super computer" powered by "cell" and a $599 console that at the end didn't do that much different than the 360, we wanted what we had in the first place on the PS2 and what we are getting until only about 2 years ago with PS3: great games for a gaming console.

I just hope the next PlayStation is not powered by "Buu".

@Squiggle55 Give it a little time and you will see that most upcoming games will be compatible.

@JoBo Are you sure you bought a 3DS? It has really good games now and RE: Revelations is just a few days from being released (I mention this because it seems to be your type of game), the eShop is also becoming better every week. You should've saved and own both systems since they offer really good experiences.

Re: Playable PS Vita Demo Units Drop into GameStop

I played Uncharted and Mod Nation Racers, and yes I was impressed with the graphics, but for some reason the experience didn't satisfied me, after experiencing both series on PS3 I think I can never go back. Maybe I just need to take a look at it in a more private place.

Re: Sony Patented a Wii U Style Controller Too

MachineLaw

I'm not really surprised about this. But, what I found intriguing is who had the idea first? Nintendo must have started development of Wii U at least since 2009, Sony presented this patent on 2010 but they must have begun research in 2009 as well. Corporate spies are a reality and I found it to be an extreme coincidence that both companies had the same idea around the same time.

In any case the truth is that Nintendo presented their controller first and Sony will wait and see if it is successful to release it's own version of it. Not that I will say that Sony copies everything Nintendo does(because it is not exactly true), but they hardly take any risks with their products, they always take the conservative side and any ideas they have they present them as separate accessories.

Re: Is the PlayStation Network Being Renamed?

MachineLaw

The name may sound awful, but the changes that are going to be made is what should keep people excited. They will unite their smart TVs, PlayStation brand and probably their Sony Mobile brand with a single account. You will be able to access all of Sony's products with one account. Not that I own any Sony products besides PlayStation...
